Post subject:  Feb Releases - GDG News

Hello Folks,

Most of you are familiar with myself and http://www.greendragongames.co.ukand we've got news coming Saturday at 00:01, those staying awake late will be delighted with what we've got coming for you. At this time I cannot say anything else but February's White Dwarf (also released Saturday) is available to pre-order. I have two of January left which come off sale Saturday too so be quick if you'd like one of them.

I will post a nice big update at about 00:15 Saturday morning on this thread with all the juicy details and I'm officially announcing right here at this time that February's Green Dragon Newsletter will come with a permanent discount code entitling all U.K customers to free shipping on orders over £40... forever! I will work on what I can do worldwide but that takes a little longer to organize so bear with us :).

U.K Customers use code "freeukshipping40"

Again, sorry if this post sounds a little adverty, feel free to reply and speculate etc but it was easier to do this than reply to the 50000000000 emails and PMs I have asking questions about what might be coming out. Sit tight and check the website late Friday night for updates.

Take Care,
Steve

Aha, so you are finally allowed to put them up. Still haven't placed that other order yet but never mind. Of course, we know the general gist of our release. Unfortunately, we can't see how good the deal is until GW put there's up and we see what the price differemce is.

Does that newe code start as soon as this one ends then? That reduces the rush time anyway, and great news again.

We are so lucky that someone like you is around 8)

I'm away all weekend from tomorrow morning so won't get to see what it is - any hints if it is just GW specific or is there any hint of your ranges broadening in terms of paints and hobby supplies from different companies (I brought the idea up in my last email to you following up on most recent order)?

And for anyone that is reading this thread and still haven't bought from GDG or are sitting on the fence about doing so in the future....
I cannot recommend him highly enough, a pleasure to deal with, offers great prices, provides a personal approach to his customers and will not let you down.

Buy from him with confidence!

Thanks all,

Yes Gothmog that code is permanent as of now :) - A huge thank you for all the positive comments, it feels good to know that the work is appreciated, I wouldn't have anybody let down and put myself in the customer's place to see how things are.

Back to the broadening of ranges, I now officially have access to the full Gale Force 9 hobby range, the full Flames of War range and a select amount of Army Painter bits available to me. I've yet to define prices or upload them to the website as we're still chipping away through the Games Workshop range, as soon as we're through its on to the other stuff.

We've stopped carrying comic books now, sold through them all to make room for the above ranges plus Knights Models later this year.

Of course, if anyone has any questions PM or email, I can sort out bulk/cheaper deals and often get PMs from outside of the U.K customers to sort out a good shipping rate.

Galeforce9?! I nearly ordered some terrain off their site the other day. Glad I didn't now.

Hi there green dragon, do you sell all the LOTR pieces? Looking to buy some Black Guards but there not listed.

Post subject:  Re: Feb Releases - GDG News

Vallejo a little while off but I'll work on it as one of 2013's targets for you.

Black Guards are direct only I'm afraid, thanks for asking though as I do have a few LOTR bits not yet listed.

Update coming in just over 2 hours, White Dwarf looks great and the Rivendell kit contains an unhelmeted Elf as well as two dead Knights! Wow!

Post subject:  Re: Feb Releases - GDG News

What kind of poses are the dead knights in? If they're in the same general pose as the Easterlings, they could very easily be converted into banner bearers on foot or something.

Post subject:  Re: Feb Releases - GDG News

The unhelmet head is for the Caotain, like in the Dol Amroth Knights, and the Galadhrim Knights. And like the pics in the rulebook indicate. They don't show the corpses though, but I'd have guessed they'd be there.

How much of the stuff have you bought yourself greendragon,?just making sure your selling them, and your 'testing' them

You can tell from the Yazneg mini that he was supposed to be Azog. They even point out his lance.

What are the Grimhammers like in scale against the old Khazad Guard figs?

Have they creeped up in height to that of Thorin & Dwalin proportions (too tall)or are they a more standard, medium dwarf height?

The official pics do have them looking a little long so to speak.
