Bah Curunir! It's funny, I was working on an article about the very same book, but gave up when I couldn't figure out how to add the pretty pictures

Yep, the Sepernt Guards and Riders were released with the Return of the King Journey book. You can buy them now.

Great job done mate, I can see you've spend many hours on this one!
The composition is just so nice that it makes reading easy like that.
Great job!

And now go Arnor!.. or Harad? Mirkwood maybe?

Very nice article Curunir!
I enjoyed reading all the strength and weakness points in particular.
Thanks!

I agree with the dearth of original material regarding painting, terrain making and weak scenarios. GW must be getting more green as they are very much into recycling...

Thanks for the article, it's very well presented.
Poo Poo to GW for not including any Gondorian terrain (the very thing that really brings the battlefield to life).
An extra thanks for pointing that out...you saved me a trip into town and the heartache of finding out for myself when I got there.

Thank you all for the comments and feedback. I really enjoyed doing this review and was inspired by the great job that Erunion did on his Khazad Dum review, so who knows there may be more of this type of review in the future. :)

Thank you for pointing this out. I can only say (by way of a weak excuse) that I started this review last summer right after GiF was released and it had been sitting on my Laptop for a while. Some of the info was bound to be out of date! :)

Cheers

Great job, Curunír!

I hadn't read this review before. I don't play the game and hardly ever paint thesedays either, so the books have ceased to be of interest to me.

Then, I noticed your name on it and thought I'd take a look. I was not expecting it to be so interesting! The layout and writing are of the highest order, as one might expect from you. The pictures are stunning. Several of them have me thinking about getting the brushes out, especially the big army of the dead shot.

Outstanding! I may no longer be purchasing any of these books, but I will definitely be reading all your future reviews. :)
