These bases add a lot to the appearance of the miniatures. I'll probably try them myself.

This is an excellent article in other ways too, enjoyable to read and the instructions with pictures are very clear.

This is crtainly one I'm going to give a try-out. I knew the idea before from Brian and his excellent guide about basing, but after reading this superbe article I'm sure.
There's no way I'm going to leave things like this! :)

I likie the idea a lot, pretty original I think. You have worked out this idea very well and gave us an easy guide on it. The end result is great, very nice paintjobs all over the article!

I really hope to see more of you Viruk, it's an ace-article!

 Isc

I love bases..in fact I get more complements about my bases than painting, so it's great for me to see a fantastic idea so well presented.
It means I have another technique to draw on now thanks to your article.

I think Dag will be pleased too if this sort of article is making it into his
article system. He wanted high quality ..and thats what he's getting. :)

Well Done and please let's have more. :)

Perhaps a painting one next as your painting looks great too

Top quality article abiut a subject that everyone faces, whether the collect and paint, play, or just build terrain.

Nicely written, clear photos and wonderful step by step instructions. The blue background in the photos is a little strong for my tastes, but the end results are exceptionally good.

Well done Viruk and thanks for your first addition to the library - I hope it will be the first of many!

This article is a fantastic addition the the lbrary and shows what a 'good' article should look like.
Clear pictures with a 'step-by-step' process and an excellent end result !

Great job Viruk !!!

Thanks for the comments! They will keep me motivated for writing more articles  At the moment I'm quite busy with my exams, but maybe next month I will submit something new...
I'm constantly searching for better solutions and I've recently started working with Paint Shop Pro, so pictures in my next article will be better :)
Once again, thanks for the feedback, I'm very happy that my first article has been received so well.

Cheers!

Wojtek

I was so new here last year, that I could not appreciate that guide, ...
now came across it and thought to bring it up for attention a bit again as it is so well described, supported with superb pics and will help so much to do great bases!
(and of course such are the only ones allowed to match such perfect painted minis ;-)
