Very well done! I love the way you used the Pastels to make him look dirty! I'm going to try that with my orcs now! A pleasure to read! |

Another little gem, and with real 'dirt'.... amazing innovation. I wonder will Mac be incorporating real smells into his next article? It better be Lady Galadriel and not some filthy goblin... |

Another outstanding article...you are on a roll!! I really like the blue paint added to his face...I completely forgot that he had that in the movie. |

Great paintwork! It looks so lifelike. For me the backside of your Gorbag is the best part. What an ingenious way to make him look dirty. This is Gorbag from the movie all over! |

An excellent article very well put across and excellent results on the finished model. Using pastels is something I would never have thought of doing. |

Thanks for all the comments people! Tim, the use of pastels is quite common in figures, but mainly in historical ones, larger scales, and also in model kits (tanks and that....). Of course, to get good and realistic results you need to get the hang of it and use it properly, not like the hasty and basic way I've done in this mini. Hopefully next time will work better. |
