I knew your Elrond from other threads, but only with this nice and greatly illustrated article I can admire this mini now as much as it deserves it (and you as well :-)!
All the step-by-step pictures and good explanations really bring the job of conversion and painting from the hidden desk in the corner to this platform so everybody can enjoy it - even he wouldn't do it himself.
Others might hopefully be encouraged now to do a conversion as well.

Nice model and nice article!

The step-by-step pictures really explain how to easilly make a mounted version of Elrond. Nice paintjob too!

Keep them coming, Bart! ;)

Well! - What does one say?

I now have a fairly good idea about one of my SKoDA loosing his mount and I have a spare Elrond

Now for the time to sit down and do a little cavalry

Great article - well laid out

Other than Arwen and Legolas, the only elf I can recall seeing on a horse is Lord Elrond when he carries Anduril to Dunharrow.

I like the mini, a great conversion (all that cutting makes me nervous). And he look a lot better on that horse then one of the winged idiots - sorry, SKoDA.

Is this guy after coins or what ? 3 articles in the system !

Great article Bart with a nice conversion to boot. On some of the initial pictures, it seemed that Elronds head was slightly bigger than the plastic body, however this is not nearly as noticeable on the finish product.
Other than that what can I say...he looks great !

Wonderful article Bart, as I've come to expect from you. :)

I am learning one can never have too many (relevant) photographs. The number of images makes it really easy to follow the steps in detail. Not that I could, mind you, but I'd know how I was supposed to, at least. :)

Very good guide. I like the way to decorate the base. It looks good and very good looks the Elrond. And the way to paint is very very good. Good work!
