A nice little article with a fairly decent result, I am sure this article will make our budding model builders motivated to put their building skills to the test !

Love the idea for the wheels !

The end result is supurb and it is great that the catapult can actually fire. The mixture of text and pictures was easy to follow and made for a good read.

Thanks for taking the time to write that fantastic article!

I like siege weapons, the bigger the better, and this one is very substantial. I like it. Nice clear article, well illustrated. Well done.

I think this is a lovely article. The images are clear, and those computer drawings of the parts are marvellous!

What I really like is that your family got stuck and supported you on this and you weren't afraid to say so. That's fantastic! I hope to be able to be there for my son one day when he gets to the age that he wants to make things like this. Too many kids thesedays alienate themselves from their families. Sorry, I digress, back on topic now. A great article! May you have many more productive, enjoyable hobby moments like this. :)

Thanks everyone for the nice feedback :)
I made the catapult a while ago, when I wasn't as good at making things as I am now. I'm glad my dad helped me make it, because now he doesn't have time for that sort of stuff, and it reminds me of when he did.
Now I'm thinking of using some batteries and a small motor to make the wheels turn themselves, but I'm really busy at the moment, so if that happens it'll be in a long time (and I'll do it all by myself :P)
Thanks again for the feedbacck, and I hope someone else makes one,

a very nice article with good pics!

I have not yet build any model where I needed to cut precisely or measure anything (only rough walls/rocks/some plaster door or roof) so this would be the right size to start with. :-)

I like the counter/wheel idea!
