Has anyone got any suggestions on techniques to learn and sources where i can learn them from? Youtube links, website links articles and/or recommended DVD's or books are more than welcome Ok i've been doing abit of browsing and realised that i'm going about painting all wrong. Maybe my technique is ok for the bulk of my army; the technique i use mainly is heavy washes with drybrushing and some blending paints for the cloaks. Having looked at how to make NMM from Obsiydian painters and some other tutorials it appears i need to use more Glazeing and wet-blending! |

Look at Beasts of war and miniwargaming on Youtube. Plenty of good painting videos on those channels Also users lotrmaster6 and 2paintminiatures are good as well. PM'ing some of this site's users and asking nicely doesn't hurt either They can give you very useful tips on painting. |

GirlPainting has lots of excellent videos and her style isn't that difficult to replicate. Awesomepaintjob is primarily about space marines but it is worth watching ones of his videos to see his brush technique. |

I've hit a few dud ones myself before, so the least I could do is to direct others along the straight and narrow IMO when people help each other out with stuff like painting it makes the whole hobby that much more enjoyable. |
