The Hobbit: SBG East Osgiliath
This weeks battle saw SouthernDunedain and Craig lead a Gondor army to defend the Eastern Edge of the City of Osgiliath against a horde from Mordor - who will win...

It was our second battle using the new Hobbit SBG rules, which has recently been released by Games Workshop.

Your style of battle report is very informative and entertaining - the photos are great, especially the extreme close-ups from down among the action.

Some more pictures from the game, I'll leave Leonardis to commentate. To be fair, most of these are just different shots to those he took. And in my eyes, my WoMT was MoM for getting a hat-trick of kills

Here is Gandalf struggling to kill a prone Uruk despite using Sorceous Blast 3 times :oops:

Those deployment rules really made the game interesting. Especially when your archers got ambushed!

I know, I don't think Craig realised my deployment, then when I won priority... Still they survived quite well really considering they have no shields!

Nice battle report, Boromir pwns again i see! Magic is less powerful than it was before so good luck re-learning it all for the hobbit! This is the east grinstead club isn't it? I really need to come up and play you guys sometime! (i'll show that pesky son of Denethor whose boss!)

it hasnt really changed much. just have to remember to call a heroic channelling.

Your always welcome the fan base for LOTR/Hobbit is growing all the time at the club. The more the merrier!
