Hi all,

After recovering from the 300pt tournament me and my lackey are planning a game night against two of our mates, and were wondering if any of you have any decent 2v2 scenarios? The example one in the hobbit rulebook 'the grand alliance' looks ok, but we were hoping for something a bit more dramatic. Either way, if anyone can direct us to some fun 2v2 scenarios - let us know!

Have opposite deployment zones to your ally. Any scenario will be more interesting that way ;P

each player starts in opposite corners of the board, objective in the center. Or you could do a free for all, four player battle.

If you're up for some narrative scenarios rather than points match games then some of the ones from the Fellowship and Two Towers Journey books work quite well.

The Lothlorien one is particularly good, one of you takes the Fellowship, one the elves, one the goblins and one the wargs. Very good fun and can go either way. The Wrath of Rohan from TTT is also good, one player could take the orcs, one the uruks and each good player could take one half of the Rohan forces (they enter from 2 table edges).

I think the narrative scenarios lend themselves to multiplayer games slightly more as they are by their nature more 'fun' and not as serious.
