Alright, looking to write a scenario for a skirmish between Boromir (or another possible leader if I have to) and the his troops of Minas Tirith, and troops of Moria. Basically, I'm looking for any suggestions into a backstory of why these two factions would clash in the first place. Thanks!

Scenario 1: Well, when going to Rivendell, Boromir got attacked by orcs or goblins if I'm right, just say he had guards with him.
Scenario 2: Goblins are raiding the northern parts of Gondor. Boromir charges the goblins to help the peopli.
Scenario 3: Sauron has summoned the goblins to attack Gondor.

-gondor was called by the rangers near the misty mountains, to stop a goblin invasion or just to stop small packs of raiding golins.

Or:
Sauron calls an invasion on minas tirith and summons all the gobos to help
at the last minuite its canceled but sauron forgets to tell the gobos and they march on obvivious.
Denethor sees the gobos coming and laughs and, as ussual, he sends Boromir and his men to kill everything

In the Battle for middle earth there is a level in which goblins have intruded the white mountains and Boromir is sent to clear them out.
