My first game with my Haradrim force under SBG (I started building them up for WotR). We were also using the new Hobbit Rules more fully though it was our first game with them so I'm sure we missed some things. Still, it was fun!

Read about it over at my site if you're interested:

Very nice report and minis, although the pictures are a bit too small IMO

Thanks for the feedback!

If you click on any pics on the website they will open into (usually) an 800x600. I normally put a note in my articles about that but may have overlooked it.

Or do you mean the larger image is too small? I know 800x600 is on the low side for modern resolutions but maybe I'm still old fashion in using that as a standard size for online display.

For myself I usually go with smaller presentation images with the text to save on bandwidth as well as keep the site visually easier on mobile and small screen devices. I could try increasing the thumbnails a bit though.

Nice report that must have took ages to write up well done 8)
I've played against mumaks a few times ( I also play Gondor) and really think their a great piece , so devastating but at the same time soooo unpredictable a captivating element to any game .

Thanks. I agree about the Mumuk being pretty fun. When things go bad for your opponent it can be easy to feel bad for playing it, but there are times it goes bad for you using it as well.

The write up didn't actually take very long. The biggest factor was that I was able to get a little time to sit and write while it was all still fresh. I take a notes during play and lots of pics (including a special pic at the start of each new turn to be sure I know what pics went with each turn). Between the decent memory, good notes and pics (several more than were posted but were too blurry to use), it probably took less than 30 minutes to do the actual write up.

When I have the hardest time is when I get so into a game in the last few turns that I forget to take nodes and hardly take any pics. This happens to me too often. Even worse is that I usually don't get around to trying to do a write up for a week or more after the game. Then I'm stuck trying to remember with poor notes. Not good.
