By popular demand -- can I call it that if it's just two people? well, I'm going to run with it anyway -- here's another in my series of occasional battle reports, this time Rescue the Baggage: http://davetownsend.org/Battles/LotR-20170703/ |

Good stuff, these scenarios seems like it is hard for the dwarves to win. The goblins are quite effective in these narrow-fighting situations because of their chittering hordes rule. |

Yeah, the dwarves definitely need some help. I'm hopeful that the There and Back Again scenarios will be better than those in the Hobbit rulebook, many of which can't have been playtested much. (Or the designer just didn't care about balance at all.) |

Thank you for the report again. It's nice that you add your thoughts about tactics in the middle of the game. This scenario is pretty hard for the dwarves to win. It might give them a chance to win if they would manage to kill Grinnah early in the game but his ability to swap places is pretty useful when trying to escape unpleasant fights with dwarves who still have might left. |
