While looking for some figures I came across a small tim box the says Mine of Moria dice set. It's got dice(surprise!!) and a disc that looks like a poker chip in a tin box about the size of a Sucrets box.
I am a modeller, not a gamer, and I bought a collection from a guy who included this in the deal. So, is it worth anything in trade value? Thanks.

I cannot say as to "collector value pricing" but I do not think its that rare, I have seen several at local hobby shops personally

Apart from being all 'jazzed up' is there anything special about these dice?

Dice are dice, there is nothing different, only the feeling it gives you just like the minis themselves. They are just speckled grey with gold painted dots and a B symbol for the 1. The gold token is a priority marker, just give it to the person with priority so you don't forget.
If i recall correctly, they sold for the price of a regular troops blister and the price is the same now - mostly selling for less, sometimes for more. The two towers (Rohan and Isengard) dice are rarer, so go from the troop blister price, to hero blister price range. I have both, and I prefer the two towers ones - easier to read and look nicer.

Local store still has a bunch of those Moria dice if I'm not mistaken, probably not too popular. Some variety in tins though, I think, perhaps you may come across somebody who wants exactly the one you have.

I can't see it being worth too much, I don't think they were overly popular or hard to come by. I personally wasn't a fan of them, hard to read and I don't like the symbols being 1's (all GW dice are like that though). On the other hand my friend is always on the look out for the two towers ones specifically the White Hand ones (although he is starting a Rohan army so maybe them too). So it could be that there is someone out there looking for them.
