Wardens of the Keys would be cool. I have a feeling we'll just get Hurin and a Command section and have to use GotFC models though. The detailing on those minis is great, but they seem so short!

Sacrilege that model is disgusting(even for a vampire) and IMO would not really suit as a proxy for Beruthiel.

Anyhow, I'm also looking forward to Grimbeorn and the wardens of the carrock! 8)

thats a really bad mini and also the wrong scale

yeah the problem here is that while it would be interesting from a miniature perspective, that isn't what werewolves should be like in LotR

^Of course it's the wrong scale, I even said it. And what should werewolves in Lotr look like then?

Well a person could paint his model however he likes it, to make it look corporeal or not. But how should it be sculpted? Maybe it is nothing but a giant wolf in Tolkien's Middle-Earth, or maybe it could be a humanoid a la wolfman. The silmarillion as far as I could remember it didn't go into great details and description over werewolves, except that they're probably not shape shifters.

I voted for the werewolf's too. I think of spirit wolfs as daemon possessed like in the Norse legends. Some of them could shape shift and talk as well. I am thinking of the talking wolfs in the Hobbit for example.I don't think of them on 25mm round bases at all. :?

I think Black-Hearted Trees would be really cool, but unfortunately they didn't cover them in WOTR.

My vote goes to the Barbarians, with Wardens of the Keys a close second (though in my opinion they're rubbish for their points cost in the game). It would be cool if they released a "Barbarians of Middle Earth" set with conversion options to make Dunlendings, Wild Men, Warriors of Carn Dum, etc... but I doubt that will happen. One can only hope.

Did they cover them in TSBG? I remember point cost but did they have a stat line? If so where? :?
Thanks

They were listed in Legions of Middle Earth, but they never got models/stats. Maybe they'll be included in the "Assault on Dol Guldur" part of the Hobbit movies... that would be pretty cool. They could also be used as the "evil" trees of the Old Forest that attacked the Shire many years before the War of the Ring.

Yeah if it isn't in WotR it's never getting a mini at this point. Are they even making more Wotr minis? Cave drake was a long time ago now. Maybe they're holding fire until the hobbit drops? Seems weird if they renewed the license only to stop releasing stuff but whatever I guess.
