right, me and drum need a bit of help because we decided to make the Winchester Cathedral BUT we need the blueprints or detailed pics of the plan and the elevations, ive been looking for a website that could provide me with such information but thanks to my luck i couldnt find any

my question to you is: do you know where i can find the blueprints of the cathedral or is there a website that might help me at all?

That's one of the maddest projects I've ever heard of!
But usually that's a good thing.

I've taken a look around the internet and I couldn't find exact blueprints (only maps) but perhaps will help you a bit link
(you can open it once you've downloaded google sketchup it's a 3d model of the cathedral)
And you could contact the cathedral, perhaps they can help you out, after all they want to get more people interested in the cathedral.

I'm really looking forward to what you make of this especially since I intend to build this abbey in 28mm once I've finished the boards I'm working on now

Try contacting the National archives, the only problem there is they will charge you for reproduction of anything.

FYI, with Google Sketchup, you have a measuring capability. So if you download the model, you can see what everything measures and scale it down to your needs...

Wow! That will be some work. I sure some one has the plain for sell. I do not know where to tell you to start.
