How much time do you spend painting?
I paint for about 3 hours every day! More at weekends, about 25 hours a week.

I'm already happy if I can get time to paint 4 hours during the weekends!

No wonder why my backlog is reducing so slowly. It actually seems to becoming larger, though that might have a different reason..

I don't paint much. Maybe an hour a week :)

Recently, not enough at all. Due to coursework (which is finally done!) and exams (still got weeks of them left) I've hardly painted in the past month or two. This summer though, I'm gonna hack into my backlog, and hopefully finish the projects I've been working on.

Not nearly as much as I would like. I normally paint maybe 5 hours a week, sometimes 10 hours. It really just depends.

Nice idea for a thread! Interesting to hear what others get up to!

I probably average about an hour per evening after the wife's gone to bed. Weekends vary completely depending on what we're up to but I can normally fit a few hours in on one of the days. This, combined with the fact I'm a slow painter, explains why I'm hardly prolific!

I tend to paint maybe 4 hours at a time, but usually just once during a weekend. That equals typically one single hero or a small batch of warriors per week. Cleaning up afterwards is too much work, I won't take my painting stuff out for a short session during weekdays.

Summer holidays are a completely different matter, though.

I used to paint about 30 hours a week but in the past few week its been more like 18 hour a week due to making a new kitchen and lots of work.

If I get any more than 4 hours a week I'm doing well. For example, I haven't picked up a brush in nearly a week but I will get a couple of hours in today.
My life is way too busy.

Not nearly as much as I would like, I guess I get maybe 1-2 heroes or about 12 core troops painted a week when I can give the whole weekend to painting. But it's been a bit slow at the moment :(

When I have free time, i can spend up to 6 hours a day painting, but I only paint during days when I'm totally free.

I think I painted one figure last year and it was a non lotr commission. You guys keep me too busy doing your figures and conversions! My backlog looks very unhappy with me at the moment.

I have not painted anything this year yet - too much going on and my time is not my own. I need to create a bit of space at home so I can have an easily accessed but safe (from dogs and small children and grumpy old men) area to work in.
This situation is driving me round the bend... :(

Varies. Sometimes I'll paint a good long while in a week or month, then be abscent from the hobby for a few months. Plus it doesn't help that I paint at a snail's pace. I think it takes me 2 to 3hrs for me to give a single model a decent paint job. Those factory line jobs of painting units seem to last forever that it sucks the joy of painting right out of me.

I can paint up to 8 hours a day, but only on days where I have nothing planned at all.
At the moment I've got to study so I won't be painting anymore untill June 22nd. I'll probably be painting up to 50 hours in that following week though.

Once I start painting I can paint for a good 4 hours+ a day. But takes me 8 hours to finish each model!

I paint for about 7 giraffes per baboon mostly, but sometimes its more like 2 pirannah per tarpin. In other words, I haven't a foggiest.

Probably I average about 4 hours a month. I spend a lot more time making terrain though.
