ok ive just read through this whole thread and as children in need is comming up I thought i'd have my say. There WAS a spoof of the felloship of the ring at easter after it came out. It was performed by none other then Dawn french and Jenfer saunders. And it was hillarious!!!
eg 1. gandalf in the shire driving his cart along and then all the children moan at no fireworks. A firework is then shot AT the children. sick but funny when you see it.
eg 2. at the start the prolong is done with hundreds of ants a stag beatal for sauron. sauron has his arm cut off with the ring and then the shock wave happens. with a hairdryer.
Im sorry for this essay but the spoof was just so well done i had to say somthing about it.
