There really should be a 'None of them' option. I found all of them quite arrogant and obstinate, obsessed - unable to see the bigger picture.

I didnt "like" any of them, but if i had to choose one it would be Maglor. At least at the end he tried to persuade Meadhros not to go after the last 2 Silmarils, and regretted taking his and threw it into the Ocean. He also created some of the greatest songs in the history of Middle-Earth (according to Tolkien).

I always sympathised with Maedhros. I do not quite see why as he is possibly the most arrogant and corrupt. Perhaps, being the eldest, his fathers deeds and his own responsibility hurt him more?

In a way I see them all as bound by an oath which they will never be free of and which is not all their fault (though none of them regret it as much as the sons of Finarfin and Fingolfin).
