Greetings, all.

I recently ordered an Erkenbrand blister thru my LGS. I was disapointed, but not surprised, to see the foot version's sword bent to about 60 degrees. This is actually pretty typical of about 25% of all metal blisters so I’m not surprised and I can usually get it looking good without breaking. But then, the real shocker, I also noticed that here’s no horse in there. I have the foot and mounted version of the hero, and both an infantry and cavalry base, but no horse.

Typically I really hate dealing with returns. I especially don’t want to bug the store owner that special ordered this for me at pretty close to his own cost. We don’t have a GW store within a couple hours drive and I’m tempted to just steal the horse from one of my standard RoR or RRG, but I think Erkenbrand has a unique horse typically.

I know many of you here have dealt with GW on returns in the past and most people have pretty positive things to say about how well they turn around such issues. But have any of you had a model that you ordered thru one of their independent distributors which you returned directly with the company? Any suggestions or pitfalls I should be aware of or estimates on turn around times?

It is still unopened as I just picked it up today and, for once, I actually spent a few moments looking at it thru the plastic before just tearing into it.

Just shoot an email to GW including the product code from the back of the blister, and maybe a photo.

I picked up some NIB stuff that was miscast and did that, they had me return the models and sent out replacements.

And as a side note Erkenbrand's horse is a standard plastic horse from the Rohirrim. So you could steal one from your others and then when you get your package from GW you could replace it.
