I've painted my uruk-hai's skin dark flesh, I plan to wash it then re-coat the base layer as a highlight. Would it look better if I did a badda black wash or a devlan mud wash?

Thanks

If your wanting to keep the dark flesh tone then go with devlin mud I would say. badab black would take too much of the colour out 8)

I painted mine with dark flesh and then washed with badab black. It does take out a lot of the colour but tones it down a bit and gives them a more dirty gritty look like in the movies. If its too dark you can always lighten them back up with highlights. Or just do some test models, wash one with badab black and the other with devlan mud and see which you prefer.

I used Devlan mud, which worked just fine, but Badab Black should turn OK as well, I suppose. Stromcrow had good advice.
