I posted a topic similar to this on the GBHL Facebook page, partly inspired by the debate on the Palantir about proxies and partly because I plan on fielding some vanilla Haradrim Chieftains and I'm not sure what would be acceptable for people.

You can select multiple options from the poll to indicate which one(s) you would accept your opponent to field as a Haradrim Chieftain without any optional wargear.

For those who don't know the difference between the old and new models for Suladan, here are some photos:

For myself out was options 1,2,4. I'd allow for a Haradrim warrior conversion as well if it was really well done. But it'd take a lot to make it look different enough.
The king looks very similar as is to a chieftain so it'd avoid confusion. But the normal Suladan is so different looking, it'd need to be changed IMO

Option #1 and #2 are the best but for some ppl (like me) everything that is nicely converted and painted is fine.

All of them are fine to me but it really depends whether or not the conversions are actually good.

I would accept almost anything as a chieftain (including models not of Harad) and would note it mentally which one it is. If the model looked like another model he was fielding, I would ask that a swash of White Out be on the underside of the base so that if any doubts came (if he tried to pull the ol' switch-a-roo on me) then we would know easily which one is the chieftain by looking underneath. I do this for Battle Companies (since it can be hard to tell which hero is who sometimes) already so it is standard practice for me.

I would accept any of them except for the converted Haradrim Warrior but it depends how good the conversion was. The old Suladan model looks so much better than the new one and I would use that one as Suladan any time!

It depends on where you are playing. If i'm with a group of friends, any of the options are acceptable. If it is at a tourny, i would find something that is clearly not a haradrim you have to point at every round and say, "dont forget, he's a chief."
