grey company

just started playing the grey company with Halbarad and the banner of the king . just wondered if anyone could give some ideas/guides on the best way to paint these guys, thanks.

Rangers of the north can be painted easily...
You must paint the cloak with a mix of Shadow grey and Chaos black and you can highlight it with Shadow gery,Codex grey and fortress grey...
The skin needs Dwarf flesh and if you want you can add tanned flesh...
Metallic aprts as usual needs Boltgun metal and Chaimail
For elather clothes and the bows you will need Schorsed brwon and Bleched bone,Dark flesh and Ctachan green...
For Halbarad's banner you will need to paint it with chao black and the icon needs Astronomican grey and laer skull white...

just mixed up the colour for the cloaks 2:1 shadow grey and choas black looks good. anymore information about the colours would be great im in no rush,thanks.

Ok...
Skin: Add tanned flesh and then some but less Dwarf flesh to make it lighter.
Cloth" Apply Catachan green and highlight the edges with a mix of Catachan green mxied with bleached bone.
Leather: First add Schorced brown and lght some reas with mix of schorced brown and bleached bone and make dark some areas with a mix of chorced brown and Dark flesh...
Bows,Spears" Add scorshed brown and highlight with darkflesh
Metallic parts" Basecoat them with Boltgun metal then apply a wash of Black ink and highlight the edges with Chainmail...
The cloak must be painted with a mix of chaos black and shadow grey, Then highlight it with shdow grey and codex grey... Last highlight with a mxi of shadow grey and fortress grey...

I think he want to paint them with the official colouring...
The one i gave is the official; one from Rotk jounreybook...
But after all he can crete hos own colour scheme...

It doesn't say anything about the official colour scheme, it reads as a request for a variety of ideas/schemes.

In any case, the best way to paint them, is how you want them to look. They are your minis after all.
