Hi, I just wonder how much green stuff there is in one package. If I were to make (mordor or gondor) shields from it, how many shields would it be, spears etc. or just normal conversions. Just wondering if anyone has any experiance on this? Thanks in advance.

There's a reasonable amount in there, if you were just using it for shields and weapons then I would tentatively suggest that you could outfit an entire army of roughly 700pts.
That's providing you don't waste much of it in the process.

I bought green stuff about six years ago and still have about 40% of it left; mind you I rarely use it. Sculpting an Oliphaunt neck (just the skin) took about a quarter of my supply, if that helps.

Sorry if that's not very specific, but I think if I was planning on mass producing weapons like that I'd only buy one pack.

If you're just after shields and weapons, you're going to be better off using plasticard and brass rods & paperclips. The plastic can be carved into pretty much any shape (I've made some great elven swords with it), and spear shafts & bows will look just as good as what you'd get from GW.
Shields with curves in them is a little harder, but there are curved plastic packages you can find in everyday life (like some coffee cans) that'll work great. 8)
