Warriors of minas tirith armour

Hi guys... I am ready to take my first minis

So i will take warriors of minas tirith but i will paint them in my special way...
I want their armour to be dwarf bronze but must i put chainmail and add it like mitril silver or simple to put it...

Try basecoating the armour with tin bitz, then dwarf bronze/scorched brown, then pure dwarf bronze.

By basecoating you mean after sprayign it with skull white/chaos black right?
Have you used this method?

Yes, just applying a flat colour over the undercoat.

Yeah, I've used this before, adding the scorched brown to the bronze improves the coverage, and gives a better finish than just jumping straight from tin to bronze.

Sometimes non-standard colour schemes arent good. For ex. the red clothes minas t. warriors.
I saw some great schame for fallen realms at gw homepage, check that out.

Yes but originality is good, so kudos for those that think outside the box and embrace creativity. :yay:

Any paint scheme, alternative or original, is based upon the ability of the painter, so, 20 people all doing red Gondor will have different results.
