Hey guys, I bought a Finecast Boromir (mounted) off ebay and it's currently being shipped to my place... but I've been looking at the photo of it and I just wanted to ask - do you guys see any Finecast issues with the banner's rod being bent? or is that just normal production bending?

I feel like Games Workshop knows me by name with my finecast returns/exhanges because I have the worst luck on Earth with getting all the cruddy defective minis

My FC boromir looked like that when I bought it but over a 3 month period the banner started to bend backwards. The flag bit is too heavy for the tiny pole imho. But without looking closer, I'd say it looks alright. I'm not sure what their policy is on returning stuff of ebay though.

your banner arm looks complete to me. Yeah. be careful with the attempting to swap failed parts with GW stores. my local store refused to swap out my failed banner arm because I didn't know where my supplier had bought it from. I've managed to find a local friend who has a metal banner arm which I'm putting on my metal version of the model so I can use my sword version as cfinecast so that's resolved.

You can't return stuff that hasn't got proof of purchase. If it's sealed in box, no questions. If it's open, they want a receipt.

thanks for the input gentleman - just wanted to make sure its coming in good shape. ill do what i can to reinforce it, if not ill replace the bent banner with a steel rod.

i really couldnt resist buying it on ebay - the guy mispelled "boromir" in the auction which is why i think nobody found the auction in their keyword searches and i won it for $8.00 on ebay xD
