Ok, so I just paid 6 EUROS for Citadel thick plastic glue, but the bottle seems to have been sitting on the shelf for ages, as the glue is sludgy and leaves strings everywhere. The price I paid is insane, so someone PLEASE tell me the secrets of reviving plastic glue???? |

Take it back to the shop? Defective goods and all that. |

Take it back to the shop is the best option I guess, or send a complaint to Games Workshop. Make sure, if you mail them, to include the batchnumber of the glue... which should be found on the bottle (well, I guess...). They should be able to trace back the production date etc... The bottle might have been expired, or they just have a quality problem... I'm pretty sure if you inform them politely, they will help you well |

Don't try fiddling with chemicals - the mess could be VERY bad. And painful. Not joking. |

I had some of the old regular Plastic Glue from GW. It got all gooey and stringy as well. Even though it was a bit unruly to use, it did the job well enough. Used a toothpick to sever the long thin strands and all that. But yeah, if they will accept your claim, get a new bottle. |

Can I still do that? |

sure, if it's a product of Games Workshop, you should still be able to mail them. There might be a chance that they send you to the independent store, which you could do aswell. The way I think it usually goes is that you complain at the independent store, they send the complaint to Games Workshop, and Games Workshop might send the complaint to the producer of their glue if they figure they get many complains about the same batchnumber... Whatever you complain about, always mention the batchnumber, it helps a lot to solve problems (well, at my work it does at least, no sure how Games Workshop works...) I expect Games Workshop will just send you a new bottle through the mail... |
