I'm going to buy some Mahud Warriors at the weekend, just wondered what paints and Washes I would need to paint these. Wanna check off what I have and buy what I need. Thanks everyone. |

Multiple browns, particularly the lighter ones, don't know the names of the newer one but with older paints it would include: Scorched Brown, Bestial Brown, Snakebite Leather, Dessert Yellow, Bubonic Brown. Also for red cloth; Scab Red and/or Mechrite Red, Blood Red. Skin if light; Tallarn Flesh, Elf Flesh, Ogyrn Flesh, skin if dark: scorched brown, tanned flesh, devlan mud. |

The answers to all of your multiple similar questions are so varied that it's difficult to give them properly. Do you want to paint them in GW's colour scheme? How many highlights would you like to do? What skin tones do you want them? GW uses a more caucasian to middle-eastern pigment for Mahud, whereas the book implies that they are darker more sub-saharan African. |

Exactly what Lord Hurin said. Check out my gallery. I left the Mahud black, with an extremely light drybrushing of shadow grey. Get that old Harad Sourcebook! |

I want to paint them exactly how they look in the book. Thanks for your replies |
