Comparing the two suladan models

are these two models the same and different sculpts or is the one on the top an OOP model? Just wondering because i remember them both and now it seems like GW doesn't have the top one anymore. Just asking because they have the same name

Yes its the same character the top one is just the far older OOP model.

I dont know which I like better. The OOP looks more simple, and far east like. The second has a lot going on. The second definitely looks more like the model worth his points though.

I own the second. I want the other now though. Totally different.

Much prefere the first, and would like to pick it up sometime, I mean how does the secodn even stand with all the banners and tusks on him?

I've the first one but I don't like the helmet. To me the second is a far better sculpt, I like the banner and all the details.

Second version fits better with Serpent Riders and the plastic Raiders, especially the horse. As with the Riders, I've left off the ridiculour tusk thingies as well as the banner though.

I much prefer the second as the first is probably the most un-inspiring leader ever lol. I don't understand the fangs on his chest really but the banners are there to complete the King Cobra that his helm depicts

I have the first one; was lucky enough to get it at a deep discount quite a while after it was discontinued. I like it better, since the second one is a little too over-the-top for my liking. The banners are cool, but the tusks scream "Warhammer" to me and the cobra head helmet is distracting. Being a child of the 80's, all I can see is Serpentor from GI Joe!
