Hello, I was just wondering how large the Beorn miniature is.

Could anybody be so kind and snap a picture of him and the Goblin King for comparison?

He's a big boy. I haven't painted mine yet (or fully assembled him), but here he is next to the Goblin King, with a few other figs for comparison.

A couple points of note. The detailing on the face and hair is fantastic. Also, since he's pretty chunky, the finecast works better on him than it does on some. That said, you are definitely going to need a little green stuff in order to get his arms and shoulders to fit together so he's holding the ax.

It is a great looking sculpt but a bit disappointed that the parts need a spot of finagling to hide the joins.

I really like the sculpt, and appreciate the fact that he's so much bigger than a man-sized model. I was worried GW might have fudged it a bit. I think I'm going to wait for a bear-form release before I commit to getting this one though. Just in case...

That's fantastic, thanks a lot Joe5mc! I didn't expect him to be that huge, pretty nice.

I'll definitely buy him sooner or later, it's a neat model for sure!
