Anyone come across any good models suitable for use as civilians with the LOTR range of models..., particularly that scale well with the GW range... Dark age / Saxon makes sense for Rohan, and Bree / Wilderland I am thinking... Not sure about Gondor... the few images we see during siege of MT are of grey robed folk..., maybe some kind of Mediterranean late medieval/early renaissance look? Any thoughts recommendations appreciated. Cheers Scott |

I have a set of Foundry's Viking Civilians as Rohan civilians. Foundry's minis are usually of the large-headed and bulky style and generally not very LotR-looking, but these civilians fit better into LotR style than the viking warriors. -- Pasi |

I have some of the Hasslefree Fantasy Villagers: http://www.hfminis.co.uk/shop?category= ... -villagers Not all in, shall we say, the Middle-earth style, but who wouldn't want a village idiot? Some of their dwarves do fit into our theme and there are a couple of amusing versions: http://www.hfminis.co.uk/shop?category= ... sy-dwarves Grimdalf appeals a lot Benn, The Nain and Russ are quite compatible with LotR. |

Perry miniatures have a really nice pack: http://www.perry-miniatures.com/product ... ts_id=1785 and with the right paint job, the clergy would probably work: http://www.perry-miniatures.com/product ... ts_id=1786 |

I got a set of those pilgrims from Perry miniatures linked to above and once glued to a slotta and based to match the rest of my models, look great as villagers of Rohan. They've been used in many a scenario. They fit especially well, since the Perry brothers sculpted many of the LOTR miniatures too. |

Size-wise the Warlord ones will work, if you don't mind the extra-big heads. |
