So I painted and assembled the Golden King today and the piece terrifies me as it's terribly designed from a engineering perspective. Has anyone found a way to connect the two throne bearers' bases (directly) that doesn't look aesthetically terrible? |

Well I have to search but I have seen a golden king that was put upon a stretched round base. But I can't find a picture right now, will post when found. |

If I were you I'd simply invest in a larger base. I'm not sure if this is legal in terms of gameplay though, but it visually it could be something worthwhile. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catal ... rod1140081 |

Big round base, Long rectangle warhammer base or 40k elongated?? I'm not sure how the rules work in this regard. |

Thank you all for the suggestions, I will definitely look into one of those elongated bike bases |

Yeah, it's a Warhammer 40K bike base. I think they're available separately on the GW site (whenever it's back up) but unfortunately I believe they only come in groups... |

Up, bike base is the same width and not far off in length so it should work fine in terms of gaming. http://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Bike-Bases £3 for a set of 5 |

I used the same base for my Golden King. I think it looks much better than the two small bases actually. Pictures are on my WIP blog. |

If the king had two seperate bases, how do you work out fights then? |

Reto wrote: If the king had two seperate bases, how do you work out fights then? It's all one model, So there's two areas to base or be based by the GK. Everyone in contact with either base is fighting the GK |
