hello everyone,

I'm interested in everyone's opinion about the tufts of grass that are sculpted on the metal horse's hoofs to support the leg.

I personally would like to cut them off because I don't like painting grass while also having static grass on the base....but I'm really conflicted because as a collector I want whole original figures. :?

what do you guys think

I leave them in place because they help to support the model, and then I surround them in other grass to try and hide them.

I pretty much always remove them (with the occasional exception of very low tufts, which are invisible when surrounded with even low static grass). Those things look terribly ugly, and all fixed models have survived transport and gaming so far. Unless it's finecast, they won't suddenly drop over time either.

I hate them but I keep them as well. Simply for support as I've had some break

I keep them, they do look ugly though. They aren't meant to be grass im pretty sure, but puffs of dirt... or grass.. the sculptor couldn't decide. If you put some static grass in front it obscures it, makes it look better.

I hate them and will always remove them if it wont upset the balance of the model.
