Good day all, this has been a bit of a head scratcher for me so thought I'd ask the good folks here and see what comes up. I'm expanding my Fallen Dwarves with 16 spearmen but choosing a spear has proven tricky as I want them to look 'right' (in keeping with their own style and the wider PJ LOTR look). Ideally I'd want something similar to this:

I have considered historical spears from Perry/Northstar but I'm not sure they're quite what I'm after. I've also looked at Brettonian Men-at-arms Halberbs but I think the scale is going to be way off compared to the dwarves and then one of the spears/halberds from the Wargames Factory Orcs, which at the moment seems to be the front runner.

Looking foward to your suggestions :)

So many fantasy models are out of proportion to what you'd be after, so it's a poser.

Honestly you might be best to use the Wargames Factory Orc Spear, and make a greenstuff mould from it so you don't run out of them Other than that I'm not sure.

I don't think this will be an issue any more but the Orc spear/halberd definitely seemed the best option I could find but would have needed work.
