I know there are pre fabricated packages, but I want an effective cheap alternative for basing. I want this stuff(not mixed) but like piles of sand and snow, and lots of mud. Ill be using this to base different forces. |

Indeed, using soda for snow effect is very popular, however it changes color from white to yellow after some time. Probably white paint can somehow stop or slow down this "natural" process (I am not sure, as I have only experience with GW snow on my winter bases) |

For mud here are many options, I use either real mud or stirland mud texture paint |
