Recently just bought a war mumakil from the gw store and was wondering if anyone knew any good painting guides that i cold use??/

Unfortunately it uses a lot of paint mixing, but does help plan out the process.

I could try to remember how I painted mine, if you'd like. Is there a specific color scheme you're wanting to do?

Wow !!! Looks amazing!! I am very tempted but i have already painted some of the haradrim the red colour so i think it will look odd if i don't stick with that

No worries. A really good place for a guide is the (I believe) RotK Journey book. If not, it may be in the Two Towers one. Maybe both. For the cloth and warpaint, keep to the same colors as the troops you've started. In all honesty, I think the Mumakil looks less intimidating without the warpaint.

As for the actual job of painting it, I found it easiest to paint with the Howdah separate from the Mumak as well as the base too. Use a big brush.

If you have any specific concerns please ask. Otherwise, I'll just keep spewing out random tips that you may already know about.

I absolutely love the purple dragon motif. It is really unique and I like the contrast in shades. I just might have to copy that myself.
