Post subject: | Corsair Bo'sun and Corsair Captain |
Hello guys, I've recently bought a blister with a corsair bo'sun and captain ! However, I don't know what weapon should be the best for those miniatures... In the blister I have received 2 crossbows, 1 lance and 1 two-handed weapon. Bo'sun can use crossbow, lance and two-handed weapon, while captain can be equipped with two-handed weapon or crossbow (or shield or bow, which I havent). I imagine that giving a crossbow to the Bo'sun will be wasted, since it's real advantage is his special rule (banner), which means that he should be near combats. What have you done / would you do? |

I would give both axes, the 2 hander to the captain. Corsairs, especially Reavers, like Piercing Strike. Keep the Xbows for cool conversions. Hope that helps! McG |

Wow I didn't know that they had all these options. Yeah axes are good (not 2-handed though). I suppose that a shield for bo'sun would be good, because you need him alive. A crossbow for the captain won't be a bad idea, adding a ranged attack to this buddy. |

Thanks for the tips ! Actually, the weapons in the blister are supposed to go like this : - 1 crossbow for Bo'sun - 1 spear for Bo'sun - 1 crossbow for Captain - 1 two-handed axe for Captain I've noticed it because on the Captain's weapons, two hands are sculpted. I don't think that Bo'sun all come with three hands Of course, I can sand the additional hand if needs be |
