So I’ve got my Gundabad Trolls (yes I used the plural form of the word). I followed the advice to wash them in warm soapy water to remove the release agent. However I’m not sure this worked on several components. The unarmored head still has a greasy feel, and is hard to hold. But it doesn’t leave any residue on my fingers. Same with the two sword-gauntlets. I’ve soaked them, scrubbed with a toothbrush and it doesn’t seem to help. Maybe these are just extremely smooth surfaces, but I don’t want to find out the hard way later that they weren’t clean. Anyone else experience this? Any advice on how to proceed?

I had the same issue with my Smaug, but the good news is that it just seems to be a quirk of FW resin ; i've undercoated him with black spray, followed by a good coat of Khorne Red with no issues so far :)

Try adding some vinegar to the soapy water.
