So, I stripped Eowyn with Dettol for the painting challenge, but after washing it, it still smells a lot and I'm wondering if I'm gonna have any problems with the new paint over it. Have it sitting atm in a bottle of window cleaner and gonna wash and scrub it again before priming. Anyone got an idea if it's gonna be enough? Cheers, Whatevier |

As long as you have given them a good scrub with washing up liquid and water they should be fine. I have never had a problem. Once dry I use Vallejo surface primer which I brush on then paint |

After 30mins of scrubing with dish soap and warm water plus a steel wool treatment, I must say I'm impessed, it almost looks as it's never been painted. Thanks for the tip Quendil |
