I have 2 slightly different poses of the Aragorn (Fellowship) figure; identical moulds in all other respects but one with arms outstretched and the other with arms turned in. The latter definitely does not look as if anyone has tampered with the posing of the arms, and to the best of my knowledge it came out of the blister like that. Minutiae, I know, but has anyone seen this elsewhere? [Unable to upload photo since advised "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached").] |

I've only seen Aragorn officially with his arms outstretched. I have seen several variations of this pose with his sword upraised, left arm in, etc. It is easy to move the arms if one is careful. |

Possibly the arms have been bent. Assuming this is the classic metal version from your description. |

Yes - both are classic metal versions (I've had them for many, many years). But I've looked very closely at them: no sign whatsoever of the arms having been manipulated. Plus I'm pretty certain I got them new in blister (or with a magazine). |

Redman, Did you receive my message about the issue and how to get around it? If you upload the image to an image sharing site, copy the url in between the image brackets in the full editor, and add ".jpg" to the end, then your image will be displayed. Just so I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused by the extra sets, however, the problem seems to be one that just comes with having such a long running, independent forum. |
