Hello there.

Despite wanting to play this game since it came out (I even have a small force of original metal models from Helm's Deep and some of the original plastic Last Alliance and Goblins), I have never gotten around to it.

I bought a few Gondor items (Boromir, Gandalf, Pippin, command box, warriors, and knights), and they aren't that far off in my painting queue. I plan to get some more, as well as various rule books and some Isengard in the near future.

I also know there are semi-regular games at two nearby gaming clubs I attend.

Looking forward to posting here as I progress, as I am a child of the forum age.

As my mates and I get older, playing tabletop games in our warm houses seems to be the easier option for our fragile, old man frames. I remember playing a few games back in the day, and I considered it the best ruleset I had played at the time (tbf I was comparing it against 5 or so GW games).
