I like my lists having a strong theme, but i like to get some variety from my minis too. so here are a couple of lists using Warriors of Minas Tirith to form to core.

The Osgiliath list is based on the scene from Return of the King when gothmog leads his Morannon orcs across the river.

The Siege of Minas Tirith list is based on those present at the siege in the books, I would have liked to get Gandalf the White and Pippin in, but points didn't allow it.

Just wondering what you guys thought of these lists, how could I optimise them without straying from the fluff? Since GW invented Cirion I figured he could be present in pretty much any situation.

They look like solid Gondor lists to me. You've got all the staples of a good list in both. The only thing I'd be tempted to do in the first list would be to drop Faramir's bow and give him heavy armour or a shield, but I think that might conflict with your fluff

Yeah, I know heavy armour and shield is a much better combo, but i love the scene in the film and think this force represents it accutately. I'm thinking of writing a list with Boromir as my general too set before his departure to Rivendel.

Will be great to see these forces on the table, awesome theme!
List wise, I think they are about as solid as you can go without breaking your theme!
