I am playing a 600 pts scenario tomorrow (we randomly decide on one of 9 scenarios: 6 from the LotR sourcebooks + 3 from Desolation Of Smaug sourcebook).

We always play good vs evil and I get to play for the good guys. My opponent will almost certainly bring two blocks of Uruk Hai (Lurtz + Captain + pikes + berserkers). Other things he could combine with are Uruk Crossbows, Warg Riders, Easterling Pikes & Bowmen & Khamul, Mordor Orcs, Captains, Siege Bow, Troll Chieftain... I have never seen him use magic. I am 99% sure I'll have to play against models from the above list.

I want to play Elves, using my twelve Guards of the Galadhrim Court.

My list so far:

Rumil
12x Guard of the Galadhrim Court

Galadhrim Captain w/ Armoured Horse
5x Galadhrim Knight w/ Elven Blade & Shield

Legolas w/ Elven Cloak
10x Wood Elf Warrior w/ Bow
2x Wood Elf Warrior w/ Wood Elf Spear

32 units, 10 bows + Legolas, 8 might

The 12 Guard of the Galadhrim Court are a must in this army (now that I've finaly managed to get these beautiful models), but everything else is open for debate. I'll probably be outnumbered, but I don't want to be 'sitting duck'.

So I am asking for playing tips and advice to make this list as competitive (since that's "word of the day" over here) as possible.

It's a good list. You have lots of tactical flexibility which is important. Be sure to make the most of those bows before Rumil's formation clashes with the enemy

Go ahead seems awesome list and to thnk most heroes willl ahve to call heroic strikes to match guards fight value to get toe to toe will be interesting...

I would maybe give bows to the cavalry so you have more tactical flexibility and can manoeuvre them into more advantageous positions.
Then maybe drop an elf and get more equipment for the foot elves.

Also, this is just personal preference, but if you could get the points for armour on Legolas and a shield for the captain that would really help their survivability.
