If the points allow it, try a troll at either end of your line, backed up by pike support to virtually ensure they win their fight.
Gandalf represents trolls, frodo is your urukhai and aragorn your hero:
When the trolls win combats, they should throw the enemy model down towards the centre, knocking down as many enemies as possible. It is usually more important to knock down models in combat than it is to get the maximum possible amount of enemies knocked down.
If that immediately scores a couple of kills, brilliant, but on turns where you have priority and can choose to do the troll combats first, you should now be fighting dwarfs who are prone and trapped.
Piercing strikes or just feinting will increase your damage output, although I am not a huge fan of Two-handed weapons in circumstances like this - it is often more important you win the fight and get 4 rolls to hit than that you get +1 to each of those hits. Remember the opponent will probably be shielding for 2 rolls to win.
Have a hero or two well positioned to call heroic moves next turn, and you might be able to get a second round of fighting against survivors who are still prone.
