This will be the first list i actually make to use for a long time.
i had more models off the dwarves but they were stolen

Right now the list contains of

Balin son of Fundin with Durins axe 95 pts
24 dwarf warriors 8 with dwarf bows 8 with axes and shields 8 with two handed wepons 206 pts
1 dwarf warrior with banner 38 pts
1 dwarf captain with shield 65 pts
24 dwarf rangers 8 with two handed wepons 8 hand wepons 8 with bows all except the bowmen have throwing wepons 240 pts
3 Khazad guards 33 pts
3 iron guard 45 pts

total points value 722 pts
5 might points
16 bows

these are all my dwarves at the moment any ideas on what i should get next?

I would think about picking up some more khazad guard and maybe another command blister. The khazad guard models (in my opinion) are pretty nice looking and their great axes will help with wounding really tough opponents, while the body guard special rule will keep them around.

Another captain and banner will help in bigger games and would allow you to split up you forces into two groups more effectively.

Mm how about those...ehm how they were called...ehhm cań´t remember well those Dwarf Guards with 2 attacks....???? eehm ... damn just can´t remember...

I would suggest, instead of the second captain, perhaps the dwarf heroes Murin and Drar? It would significantly boost your overall might, which would be useful in larger battles. It'll also give you another combat hero (especially against Mordor, when hordes of orcs are charging at you), as well as a leader for the rest of your bowmen.

I would suggest Gimli. He is arguably the best dwarven hero available, he costs less then Balin with Durin's axe and from my experience does a lot better in games. Though you already have Balin I would still suggest getting Dain as he's extremely useful in larger battles.
Apart from that I would get at least another box of dwarf warriors and a blister of kazad guard and iron guard. This will give you more numbers and options, not to mention volley fire.

Just one more note, I suggest getting more iron guard. They are really worth the points and are very strong (as I have found out by playing General Elessar several times *grumble grumble*)
