#Dol Guldur# -Spider Queen-75pts -36x Orcs (w/ spears,shields,bows,2hweaps)-216 pts -Bat swarm-35pts -3xGiant Spiders-75pts #Minas Morgul# -Black Numenorean Marshal (w/shield)-70pts -3xBlack Numenorean Warriors-27pts Total:45(48-Spider Queen´s Broodlings) 50%:23(24-Spider Queen´s Broodlings) Bow:0-6 Mights:4 So I went back to small points skirmish battles but don´t know if this would be the besst combination against High elves led by Gil-Galad or Glorfinde. i bet their numbers will be around 20-30 it would depend whether he includes banner or/and Erestor So any impovements and CC welcome |

Why do you need the black Black Numenorean Marshal and his three mates? If you know you are playing against elves their terror is going to become almost useless. If you take out the Numenoreans you'll still have 41 models and have another 99 points to play with. I'd suggest trading them in for one of the following... - An Orc shaman and Drummer. - A Captain and Banner. - A mounted Ringwraith (with some might). |

Hmm sounds reasonable, well i took the Marshal cause he has a decent FV against elves, and also a high defense and courage, then i took those 3 Blackys cause I though They would look cool How a bout a Wild Warg Chieftain? or would the Drummer and Shaman be much more useful? Not so keen on half-strenght Nazgyl though.... |

I play a lot as elves and in 500pts. matches I generally have about 35 minis. And, yes, not much point taking a 70point hero for three guys. I suggest dropping them like Tackitis said and taking a drummer and maybe a taskmaster or some more wargs or giant spiders, etc. |

No its the other way around, I took the Marshal cause he is good, and then i added those Numenoreans but ah well, quess they got to go Hmm I´ll take the Drummer, but in addition should I take the Taskmaster or the Shaman? I think Shaman is better cause I don´t have high courage heroes and his "free fate" is better than free heroic fight/move`??? |

because of their high courage it neglects the use of terror as its not hard to roll at least 5 on 2 D6´s |

Well a Drummer and a Shaman it is in this case Now its 501 points #Dol Gulrud# -Spider Queen-75pts -Orc Shaman-60pts (on a warg) -Orc Drummer-40pts -Bat Swar-35pts -3xGiant Spiders-75pts -36xOrcs-216pts (with random weapons) Total:43 50%22 Bow:0-6 M:3 Should I take the Wild-Warg Chieftain? or should I aim for more numbers, like removing one of the "HQ" orc-herose, and adding more troops? Don´t like the idea of 3 might at all though |

I like it, that list will make some people think about how to take it on. I'm curious to see how the Orc shaman goes on a Warg. |

I think there is ablister with a shaman a-top a warg. |

I meant how the addition of a warg will increase the effectiveness of the Shaman since the shaman is a support hero and all. Suddenly with a warg and a point of Might he could be alright in combat (as risky as it is). |

Heh, well id throw even a banner bearer into the combat would the situation require it e.g killing the last orc, to break the opponents army... |

the only bad thing about putting a shaman into combat is that it makes the effect of fury to stop working. so i would only charge if i need to. |

im in favor of getting a nazgul, otherwise you have no good counter for elven heros (spider queen can take them out IF she wins, otherwise they will easily kill her cause shes so squishy.... watch out for gil galad...) so if you can get a nazgul then your queen will devour EVERYTHING bats are good, but you cant really get the queen and a bat to fight the same guy.... hero will have spear support and the queen takes up all the space in the front.... hero probably in a wall so cant get the sides... |
