Post subject:  400pts. Mordor army revised

I've been going over this for some time and I thought this might turn out to be a pretty good army:

Nazgul (1mt. 10will 0ft.) 75pts.
Orc captain with shield 45pts.

24 orcs: 10 shields, 10 spears, 4 2H weapons 144pts.
6 orc trackers 30pts.
3 sceptres 45pts.
4 morgul stalkers 60pts.

Total:399pts., 39 models, 3 mt., 6 bows.

Only problem is fairly low numbers for a Mordor army however I will use the sceptres, nazgul and morgul stalkers to butcher any enemy hero by compelling, fell lighting, and surrounding with 2A stalkers= massacre. Morgul stalkers will also be the anti-archers and some orc trackers in there to force the enemy to play a bit offensive.

Opinions? Haven't got all the models yet but I'll play-test it to see how it works.

the list looks pretty good, you could perhaps add a close combat hero. one of the named captains with more might perhaps

other then that the list looks good, just make sure you don't get out maneuvered by enemy cavalry

Looks very strong, and I like you said I don't think you will have much of a problem being outnumbered.

However I would sacrifice an Orc to give the Nazgul a Fate point, as you don't want him to be killed by chance before he's done his work, and also you need him alive for when you break, because his Courage is vastly superior to that of the Orc Captain.

Alas I can't take a named captain as the school league rules state 1 named hero or max 2 unamed.

Do the normal Nazgul count as named?

Eehm I do suggest swamping one will point for a fate point, you may just never know when a Disaster might happen....

A cavalry for an instance charges your Nazgyl and by a lucky roll kill him with lets say 4-6 will points? Most unfortunate I´d say...

yup i would say so to.. make that nazgul stronger! If he is your leader you dont want him accendetially killed in the first few turns by a bow or a rider or somthing...

ye, but the nazgul have good-ish magic, so u will still need loads of will points

but i would swap 2 points of will to fate, cos he might get cought up in combat

I really think that a nazgul should never have <10 will but I might pull off a couple of orcs for some fate.

u could give him 7 will and 1 fate, then put in 4 or 5 more orcs
