Ok guys, after a leave of a year from this wonderful game (I got the 40K bug.) I'm back. Ok, me and three mates are making an army each and are gonna play against each other each month, here is my army for the month Beregond: 25 Peregrin, Guard of the Citadel: 25 10 Warriors of Minas Tirith, Bow: 80 5 Knights of Minas Tirith, Shield: 70 200 on the Dot |

I think you are better of with a captain or Faramir, as these two heroes woun´t be exactly the best... fighters Also theres a bow limit, you can have max. 33% of your warriors carry bows, and in such a small points army i don´t recommend using any cavalry at all cause they eat up a lot of points how about... 200pts excatly #Rangers of Ithilien# Farmir- 70pts 4x Osgiliath Veterans(w/shields)-40pts 5x Warriors of minas Tirith (w/spear and shiled)-45pts 5x Rangers of Gondor (spears) -45pts With such small points it is hard to get some (if any) variety in the game but there are a couple of ways... The idea of this list is to keep those veterans close to Faramir, as they benefit from "Loyal to captains" special rule, and those 5 WoMTs are going to back Faramir and 4 Veterasn up with spear support, while 5 Rangers pepper enemy with arrows and should the situation need it you can always use Rangers to support your front troops, should do just fine |

not sure how that will stand up to horde armies, as they really shine at 200-300pts and goblins/hobbits at 501-600pts goblins and hobbits can get 48/50 models at those pts |

Like the list. Looks like it could really work. @MoS: I think you got your points slightly mixed up, Faramir is 90 and OVs are 9pts. with just a shield. |

you are correct on Veterans account but you are wrong on Faramir, he costs 70 points... Well i don´t really see any mayor differences... but if you want your list then fine |

I've been thinking it over and I want Faramir in my force (He's my favourite character) Faramir, Bow: 75 5 Warriors of Minas Tirith, Shield: 40 5 Warriors of Minas Tirith, Shield and Spear: 45 5 Rangers: 40 200 on the dot. |

Seems fine, but you do lack some FV 4 warriors, but maybe it wont matter with such numbers |

The fact is I'm versing a cavalry Rohan force, Mordor Uruk/Nazgul force and a pure Mordor army and I've tried to outnumber my opponent and smash their face in with precision archery and skill at arms. (Oh by the way, the pure Mordorist is taking the Undying at 200 so I don't think hes gonna outnumber me.) |

Rangers? Looks pretty solid but you might want to drop Faramir for a captain as 75 is quite a lot even in 200 points. |

Sure they could, but only those posed as shooting can shoot (just like Riders of Rohan) |

Wait, but I have 10 Warriors and 5 Rangers, that works out at 33% doesn't it. |

No @whafrog, even those rangers that are not posed "shooting" can shoot, cause he isn´t using any other rangers without bows... if he would have for an instance 10 WoMTs and 10 rangers THEN only 7 posed "shooting" could shoot... but in this case it is perfectly legal |
