Hey A GW employee has a mordor army that has not been beat, so i was wondering what kind of army would beat it... then i got thinking just how imbalanced you can get an army to be. so obviously it would be a mordor army with gothmog, and at least 2 nazgul (khamul and the betrayer), lots of morranons, a troll or two, throw in thrydan cause he's so cheap..... ya. and i bet that sometime in this thread that we gonna end up talking about all the imba stuff in wotr... lol im not that experience with mordor, so if any mordor player wants to make their dream list, do it hear (make it 1500pts or 2000pts) |

I just wouldn't play with him. Fighting fire with fire is probably not going to work. And if it does, he'll be looking to make his army even more competitive. |

Try and find out some more about his army, then we'll be able to give better advice. |

Shadowswarm, if you already have heaps of Morranons, Khamul and the Betrayer, and Gothmog, I think allied Corsair arbalesters are the next step. I don't rate the trolls, unless you are planning to really mass them. Thrydan is nice enough, but being cheap isn't the same as being really good. If you have crossbows, then you want a shield shatterer, or two. Druzhag would be the first choice there, and then Khardush the second. |

i swear if this ar,y is made it will never lose a battle. mordor orcs 9 companies each. throw in shamans here and there. cheap epic hero just to save as many points as possible. just max out give em shields. you wont even get flanked cause u will cover the field. you find your opponents large formations and shatter there shields with a free spell and use all your might to make it for the game. do it as much as you can. his units are useless with defence 3 and even if they kill like 36 orcs in a turn thats like 130 points if that. its way overpowered. |

well this wasnt an army to beat his, i was just wondering how what would possibly be the best army possible(using lots of the overpowered stuff ect), and before you all say "there is no best list" ect, i want to see how good it can be IN GENERAL... so pretty much a super power gamer's list... @westfold: there are things that can still get you in the flank: flyers, ambushers, spawned units (ie druzhag), things with swoop attack ect |
