Generally too many heroes. A rule of thumb is 1 might for each 100 points of army. At 500 points you're allowed up to 50 models, and it's a good idea to get close to that if you can. With elves you'll probably get less might because each warrior is more expensive, with goblins you might get more might. For elves, Legolas by himself can be enough of a hero at 500 points, though adding a Sentinel or two can't hurt. I'd start a bit smaller to get a feel for the game, maybe an easterling captain with a box of easterlings, and a wood elf captain with a box of wood elves. See how it plays out and what you want to expand on from there. Your easterling army isn't legal, unfortunately, you need a hero from Minas Morgul to ally in the knights. You'll probably enjoy the Shadow in the East sourcebook, as it expands a bit on the Easterlings and Khand, while for elves the Fall of the Necromancer sourcebook is useful. |
