I'm not sure if this should be here or in the help with miniatures section, so feel free to move it if it is in the wrong place
I've recently started a Moria Army and for christmas I got a Mordor/Isengard troll. I decided to try and paint it up as a cave troll that the goblins have scravenged together bits of old rusty and battered armour, and i painted the cloth red so as to tie it in with the goblins. I think it looks good, and i'm really just wondering would it pass as a cave troll and would it fit with the army? Because it is more fun to paint than a cave troll, and i'm thinking of getting another one.

I think it looks cool. I get what you say about the goblins bringing scraps of armour,i think you portrayed that well. I don't see any reason way it wouldn't go for a cave troll as long as you use the CT rules.Oh and I just took another look at the pictures, the base looks awesome with that broken troll spear. I wish I could zoom in.

In a tounament it is not legal.

In friendly games you could do it if your opponent agree but the base of the mordor troll is larger so that's a problem.

As hero said...the cave troll base is a cavalry base, which could impact tactics. In a friendly game you could just pay the extra 20 points and call him an ally.
